9. DC's Legends Of Tomorrow
The deluge of superhero television shows must surely end sometime...right? Well, maybe not yet, but DC's newest portrayal of men and woman in funny costumes being melodramatic is surely a sign of things to come. The show is a spin-off from Arrow and The Flash, and involves a man named Rip Hunter travelling back in time (to the present day) in order to band together a team of superheroes. In essence, it's The Avengers of television shows (I know, I know, The Avengers is Marvel). So how can it fail? Well, waning popularity isn't the only reason shows fail. Reportedly, the network helming the show (The CW Television Network) massively underestimated the budget of the show (that's what happens when you've got a bunch of heroes instead of just one). Several sources have reported that The CW Television Network are concerned by the idea of a second season already, knowing that the show's budget will only get more expensive as it progresses. You can't blame them, really. It's a bit easier to try and budget when you've only got one or two costumed heroes running around using CGI-heavy superpowers, but ramp up the number of unique abilities and introduce time travel, and things get a little more pricey. If things are too expensive, it's entirely possible they may choose to cease the show.
