Agent Carter: 10 Easter Eggs And References You Need To See

9. Who Is Leet Brannis?

A person, a place? Those are the guesses by the poor unfortunate being interrogated €“ if that's the right word for somebody psychically attacking your mind whilst wiggling a knife around in your hand €“ by the Leviathan agent in the first episode. Leet Brannis looked like he might be the MacGuffin of the series, but comics fans with particularly long memories will have figured it out already. It becomes clear very quickly that Leet Brannis is a person, and has something to do with all the industrial espionage that Peggy (and her fists) come up against in these first two episodes. According to IMDb, the voice-less character who breaks Jarvis's fall is due to appear in one more episode... Which could conceivably be more, if James Frain's final appearance as the character doesn't wind up being quite so final. Brannis was a small-time crook who often appeared as an antagonist to the Golden Age speedy superhero The Whizzer. So this could be the end for Brannis, but possibly a door through which some early MCU heroes could appear...?
