Agent Carter: Ranking The Characters Worst To Best

1. Peggy Carter

Played By: Hayley Atwell Is it really any surprise that Peggy Carter is the best character in a show where her name's in the title? Atwell is just an absolute pleasure to watch bring Peggy to life, and it's pretty obvious everyone at Marvel knows they struck gold with her considering how big the character's role in the MCU after The First Avenger has gotten. Peggy can kick ass and take names without powers or suits of armor, be strong enough to not let petty things bring her down, and is smart enough to outwit her cocksure allies and dangerous foes alike. She's a fantastic character - arguably the MCU's best female one - and Atwell does a solid job of tapping into so many aspects of the character throughout the series alone to humanize her, from dealing with the emotional fallout of losing Steve to standing up for herself to being a true leader to even revealing the hilarious side of herself when going undercover as a health inspector. Even stripping away all the other characters around her, Agent Carter would still be worth it for Atwell alone, and season two can't get here soon enough for more of her and Peggy.
