Played By: James D'Arcy While the on-screen chemistry between Dominic Cooper and Hayley Atwell was undeniably fun to watch, it was the friendship and dynamic between Peggy and D'Arcy's Jarvis that really formed the heart of the show. As actors and characters, the two are a perfect match, with Jarvis' wit and unwavering loyalty to Stark and Peggy bringing a lot of charm - and earned comic relief - to the show. It's easy to see how D'Arcy's take on the character could go on decades later to positively influence Tony Stark to a point where J.A.R.V.I.S. is named after him, and the strength of his performance makes it even easier to want to see and learn more about him. With the inclusion of his wife in the upcoming second season indicating we'll be learning far more about him and his life beyond being Stark's butler, it's clear those behind the show know that fans took to Jarvis, and thankfully there's a lot of mileage left in seeing him and Peggy on another adventure.
