Agent Carter: Ranking The Characters Worst To Best

7. Roger Dooley

Played By: Shea Whigham Chief Dooley began the season as the all-too-serious head of the SSR office where Peggy worked, representing - like Thompson - how much Peggy was surrounded by testosterone and sexist stubbornness. Over the course of the season, however, Dooley came to see how invaluable Peggy was after giving actual consideration to what she had to say and prove about Leviathan in the wake of her capture as a "traitor," even if that revelation came too late for him. The information given about his strained marital status and his home life was enough to color in what could've been an outright black-and-white personality, lending some actual weight to his character by the time Fennhoff ordered him into the explosive vest that would take his life. His dive through the SSR window and subsequent explosion over the street below turned out to be one of the season's most effective moments, and one that characters like Peggy and Thompson undoubtedly won't have forgotten in season two.
