6. There Will Be Doctor Strange Tie-Ins

One of the most surprising pieces of news about season two is that it will tie in to the upcoming Doctor Strange movie. That said, Doctor Strange will move the Marvel universe into a more mystical direction so it is a good idea for off-shoots of the films like Agent Carter to ease in this side of things first. Peggy will investigate a company called Isodyne Energy, whose scientists have discovered a strange dark energy which they call Zero Matter. This will be based on Darkforce, which in the comics is an energy drawn from an alternate universe of pure darkness. Fans may remember that Darkforce already featured in the MCU in the Agents of SHIELD season one episode The Only Light In The Darkness. It will also play an as-yet-unknown role in Doctor Strange.
