Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. - 10 Things You May Have Missed In The Series Finale

In the comic books, the Avengers Academy was formed shortly after the events of Civil War in order to train young superhumans. The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. finale includes a clear nod to that when it's revealed Agent May is now in charge of the updated S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy, now dubbed the "Coulson Academy" by the badass hero.

Not too long ago, the series revealed that May had gained superpowers of her own as through physical contact, she assumes the emotions of whoever she touches. Those skills come in handy as a teacher, and Flint is among those she's now in charge of training to keep S.H.I.E.L.D. alive moving forward.

Of course, this wasn't the perfect ending in some ways as the romance between May and Agent Coulson appears to have reached its end. However, with the long looks they give each other during their final meeting, it's not overly hard to imagine them finding each other again in the not too distant future. Just don't bank on that being picked up on by Marvel Studios.
