Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. - 10 Things You May Have Missed In The Series Finale
7. Team...Yo-Yo?
Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez is another character who has been through a lot (remember when she lost her hands?), but that hasn't stopped her from wanting to continue being a hero, hence why her story ends with the hero leading a team of her own S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.
Working with Piper and an LMD Davis (who was brought back at the former's request after he was killed by Izel during season six), it's at this point Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. made a very funny reference to The Flash. Like the Scarlet Speedster, Yo-Yo has super-speed, and managed to overcome being snapped back to her starting position over time as her powers developed.
In this final scene, Yo-Yo is wearing a red jacket, and the music playing in the background is very similar to what fans are used to hearing in The Flash TV show. It's an amusing nod, and it definitely feels like Elena now has her own team not all that different to the Fastest Man Alive's on The CW.
