7. Calvin Johnson

Last Seen: Starting his new life - memory cleaned out by Project T.A.H.I.T.I. - as a kind-hearted veterinarian in the second season finale. Easily the best addition to the show in its second season, Daisy's father Cal revealed himself to be so much more than just a villain, with his obsession with reconnecting with his daughter and blind devotion to Jiaying putting him down a self-destructive path. Full of good intentions but warped by his own experiments on himself, it was bittersweet to see him survive the season alive and happy, even if it meant having to sacrifice the relationship with the daughter he fought so hard to have. Kyle MacLachlan played the character to perfection, and while Cal's exit from the grand scheme was a great send-off, it's hard not to hope for a scene down the line where Daisy checks in on him, if just to give a dash of happiness in what's been the show's "darkest" season yet.
