Agents Of SHIELD: 10 Things That Need To Happen In Season 3
7. Street Level Stories
The MCU has been opened up significantly as the films and TV series have unfolded. Guardians Of The Galaxy made things cosmic. The Winter Soldier made things political. Agent Carter went into the past. Then there's Daredevil, the first of several Netflix series which will deal with “street level” heroes, whose struggles are less supervillainous.
Draedevil's first season had ninjas and stuff, admittedly, but mostly it was about one man facing down organised crime in a dark corner of New York City. Later series will introduce Luke Cage, who has unbreakable skin, and Danny Rand, imbued with mystical kung-fu powers to become Iron Fist. They have to come onto the SHIELD radar, surely?
Even if they can't arrange some crossover between the series and Daredevil or Jessica Jones or whatever, it would be a nice change of pace (and more befitting of the budget) to make hone in on a smaller, street level character for the Agents to engage with, much as they did with Deathlok in the very first episode. Before he got all robot-y, anyway.
