Agents Of SHIELD: 15 MCU Characters Who Realistically Could Still Appear
14. Happy Hogan
The MCU wouldn't be what it is today if Jon Favreau hadn't pulled off the original Iron Man in 2008. With creative directors like Joss Whedon, the Russo brothers and James Gunn being who fans think of when considering the MCU's more recent releases and future slate, it's easy to forget that Favreau deserves a lot of credit for helping kick it all off in the first place. As Happy Hogan, Favreau himself appeared in all three Iron Man films, though word hasn't come out if he might be making a welcome cameo in Age of Ultron. With no more standalone Iron Man films in sight and Favreau himself staying occupied in front of and behind the camera outside the MCU, when or if fans will ever see Happy again is up in the air. Considering, though, that the last fans saw of Maria Hill was her attempting to get Coulson and the team to work for Tony Stark, it'd be a pleasant surprise if Happy showed up alongside the Stark-employed Hill in advance of her appearance in Age of Ultron. It's about time viewers got the opportunity to see how Happy is doing after the events of Iron Man 3 and learn if he's still a fan of Downton Abbey, if even just for a scene or two. Stark's head of security and the Koenig brothers could even spend an entire episode contemplating the critical importance of lanyards and it'd likely be entertaining.
