Agents Of SHIELD: 5 Things Fans Want From The Series Finale
4. Cameos
Thanks to time travel hijinks, long gone Agents of SHIELD characters have been popping up left and right throughout the season.
Gideon Malick, Jiaying and Gordon, and John Garrett, none of whom have been seen since at the latest the third season, have all played some sort of role in Season 7. Even Rick Stoner, Patrick Warburton's distinctive SHIELD Agent who appeared in hologram form in Season 5, shows up in the flesh this season due to time travel.
Hopefully, the finale allows us to see some other long gone characters one last time. It would be nice if deceased former series regulars Grant Ward, Lincoln Campbell, or Holden Radcliffe made some sort of appearance, either in their youth through time travel or alive and well thanks to an altered timeline.
The previous episode even made reference to Ward, and with Garrett potentially out of the picture, he could, as the Season 4 Framework arc showed us, be a much better person.
Other dead or missing characters we could hopefully see in some form include Agents Piper and Davis, Enoch, Flint, Trip, Bobbi and Hunter, and maybe a certain someone...
