3. Fitz
Though Season 7 has some incredible moments, Agents of SHIELD is not the same show without Leopold James Fitz. Due to scheduling conflicts with actor Iain De Caestecker, the monkey loving engineer was written out of the first ten episodes of the season.
Fitz popped up for a quick flashback scene in episode 11, but that's all we've seen of him so far, and we still don't know where he is and what he's been up to.
The final episode not only has to answer all those Fitz questions, it also needs to give us some great new Fitz content. Whatever he's been doing seems to be key to saving the timeline, and with any luck, that should lead to some good screen time with the show's best character.
In addition to Fitz's solo story, the finale should give us some great moments with Fitz and Simmons. The pair's chemistry has been one of the best parts of Agents of SHIELD, and as it stands, Simmons doesn't even remember who Fitz is. Hopefully, the finale resolves this and gives us the most adorable Fitzsimmons moment yet.
