Agents Of SHIELD: 5 Things Fans Want From The Series Finale

1. ...That Leaves The Door Open

Agents Of SHIELD Season 1

Even though this is the final season of Agents of SHIELD, it doesn't necessarily mean this is the last time we'll see these characters. After all, though Agents of SHIELD is ending, Marvel still plans on releasing 616 movies and TV shows a year set in this universe, and there's no reason the SHIELD cast can't show up in at least a few of them.

In the comics, Daisy Johnson, as Quake, joined the Avengers. The show's version of Daisy Johnson is one of the most popular characters, so with any luck, she could join whatever new Avengers form after Endgame.

Though most of the rest of the team are original to the MCU, they could fit in nicely with the movie characters. Imagine Fitzsimmons arguing with Hank Pym about science, a hilarious Deke and Star-Lord team-up, or even Coulson reuniting with some of the original Avengers.

Hopefully, the series finale opens the door to some of these crossovers. Maybe the team could join up with SWORD, which was teased in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Regardless of where Agents of SHIELD's story ends, it shouldn't be the end of the story of every agent of SHIELD.
