Agents Of SHIELD: 8 Ways It Sets Up Marvel's Inhumans

6. Skye/Quake

The mystery of Skye was a big part of the first season of SHIELD Designated as an 0-8-4 (object of unknown origin) she was found by the organisation as an infant in China, and they went to great risk protecting her. She was placed in various orphanages, constantly moved around as part of SHIELD protection programme, and eventually grew up to become a hacktivist, and then later recruited back into the agency.

It wasn€™t revealed who her parents were, though it went to pains to create an intrigue around them, and in season 2 it was revealed she was the daughter of Calvin Zabo, aka Mr Hyde, and was thus Daisy Johnson, an Inhuman from the comics otherwise known as Quake.

Her interaction with the Terrigen Mists revealed her powers, and the show did a great job of developing them throughout the second half of season 2. As the nickname suggests, she possesses the ability to unleash sonic waves that are similar to an earthquake.

Her powers did seem to rapidly increase, with the earthquakes getting stronger and also the ability to create a forcefield, and they only look like continuing to improve. Skye is at the forefront of the Inhumans at the moment, the one we know the most about, seemingly the most powerful, and the one who€™ll very much be leading the way in their development and continued presence until the movie arrives.
