Agents Of SHIELD Season 4: 15 Characters Who Need To Return

Last Seen: Starting his life anew as a veterinarian courtesy of Project T.A.H.I.T.I. back in the second season finale.

Easily the best addition to the show in its second season, Daisy's father Cal revealed himself to be so much more than just a villain, with his obsession with reconnecting with his daughter and blind devotion to Jiaying sending him hurtling down the self-destructive path he was already far along when fans first met him.

Full of good intentions but warped by his own self-experimentation, it was bittersweet to see him survive the season alive and happy, even if it meant having to sacrifice the relationship with the daughter he fought so hard to earn back.

Kyle MacLachlan played the character to perfection, and while Cal's exit from the grand scheme was a fitting send-off, it's been hard not to hold out hope Daisy would find a chance to visit him at some point since.

In the real world, it would be great to see the two together again to illuminate what their relationship - if they have one - has become, but it'd also be fun to see how his life has played out in the Framework and whether or not he ended up getting what he wanted (a happy family) or descending further into madness.
