Agents Of SHIELD: Where Each Character Could (Possibly) Appear Next

3. Mack, Yo-Yo, Piper, And Davis - Avengers 5

Agents of SHIELD
ABC

The first time the Avengers needed to come together, it fell on SHIELD's shoulders to assemble the superteam. After the events of Endgame, it feels like the Avengers aren't much of a team anymore, with every former member either dead, retired, or independent.

Enter the director of SHIELD: Alphonso Mackenzie. In Mack's final shot, it's no accident that he wears a similar outfit to Nick Fury while standing on a Helicarrier. The scene is intentionally framed to feel like the first Avengers film, reminding us that if the Avengers ever need to assemble once more, then Mack is the man to do it.

Additionally, Mack's most elite team of SHIELD agents could help the Avengers with whatever brings them together next. Led by Yo-Yo, who has superpowers of her own, this team could be an asset to the Avengers, playing a similar role to Coulson in the first Avengers film. Yo-Yo's partners, Piper and LMD Davis, could give the superhero team a little extra firepower. Plus, with the death of Quicksilver, the Avengers might need a speedster like Yo-Yo.

If Avengers 5 follows the same trajectory as Avengers 1, with SHIELD re-forming the team to combat a new threat, we could be seeing more of Mack and Yo-Yo.
