3. She's An Extremely Underrated Character

Like I said before, Sif is one of the more overlooked badasses of the Cinematic Universe. The reason for this is simply because she's competing with an entire world of badass characters, such as Heimdall, Odin, Thor's friends whose names we're not entirely sure of unless we follow the comic books, and Thor himself. This is why she needs to be transported to Earth to show what a great and unstoppable force she is. I mean, she already saved Thor's life in the second movie, remember? We only got a fleeting glimpse of the Xena-Warrior-Princess-like skill she beheld, and we need another hour or so to see that exclusively. On a side note, we've already seen the "fish out of water" story with Thor on Earth, and in the sequel with Jane Foster on Asgard, but we don't really know what the general consensus would be in regards to the Asgardians first-hand opinions of Earth, and Sif could be just the one to do that.
