1. If They Pick Up Where They Left Off Last Season, We'll Be Flying
Viewers and critics alike were equally stunned by the swift uptick in quality Agents of SHIELD took last season, and many came out of the first year with an excitement and a general positive attitude towards the show that will hopefully be maintained throughout season 2. Audiences might not be so forgiving if the show squanders its goodwill with an equally inconsistent second year, which is why it's so crucial that AoS keeps up its momentum. And that looks like exactly what Marvel and ABC plan to do, with a whole host of new characters to spice things up and a bunch of engaging plot threads that require immediate picking up. Not to mention the hopefully continuing development of two of season 1's overall weakest characters, Skye and Grant Ward. We're crossing our fingers that the show's 22-episode order doesn't lead to the stretching out of storylines with dull filler episodes like last year. But for now we're optimistic. Got everything? Is there more news about Agents of SHIELD's second season that we didn't cover? How do you think the show will fare with its new status quo? Let us know in the comments!
