4. Existing Catalog of Documentary/Specials
If you already frequent Al Jazeera English, or AJE, you know of their brimming library of online content, and you're already well aware of the breadth and scope Al Jazeera currently has amassed and have on hand to rebroadcast on AJAM. Programs like "Fault Lines", "Listening Post", and "Inside Story" in addition to countless documentaries, provide Al Jazeera America alternative material to show alongside hourly and half-hourly news updates. This is a welcomed new method to the regular 24-hour news channel programming schedule that normally bombards the viewer with hour upon hour of shouting and combative arguing amid the repetitive headlines. Taking every half-hour or so to take a breath from the daily deluge of talking points and campaign events is a great way to educate their audience on new topics as well as creating a satisfying shift to not get bogged down by their competitor's normal diatribes of redundancy and pseudo-intellectual babble.
