Altered Carbon Review: 7 Ups & 3 Downs

2. It's Full Of Sneaky Twists & Turns

No spoilers here, of course, but above all else Altered Carbon is a show that will keep you guessing all the way to the end.

The series' tricky premise, where people can slip in and out of bodies at will and assume new ones, creates an air of distrust from the outset, such that until the big finale, you can never be quite sure who is who, and who is on whose side.

The show steadily doles out the surprises in a way that makes it compulsive, binge-worthy viewing, constantly upending what the audience thinks they know while leaving plenty up in the air as the final credits roll. Bring on season two.
