American Horror Story: 10 Questions We Have For The Coven/Murder House Crossover

Speaking of roles, it'll be interesting to see how exactly the crossover will work when it comes to which of their characters the cast will be portraying. As the likes of Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters were mainstays of both Murder House and Coven, will both of their respective characters be making an appearance in Season 8?

For example, Paulson played medium Billie Dean Howard in Murder House and Cordelia Foxx in Coven. Is it possible that both of these characters will be part of the crossover? Yes, it's very possible, but it might become confusing for some of the viewers to see the same actor portraying two different roles. However, it wouldn't be the first time this has happened on the show.

Paulson played Sally McKenna throughout the entire season of Hotel, but in the final episode the actress made an appearance as Billie Dean Howard. Similarly, during Roanoke, Paulson played actress Audrey Tindall, but also appeared as an aged version of her Asylum character Lana Winters. What's interesting is that in both of these instances, none of the show's other characters noted the physical similarities between Paulson's characters.

With that in mind, it's extremely likely that the celebrated cast of American Horror Story could be reprising both their Murder House and Coven characters.
