4. Leave The Dead Alone

Frankly unless you're going to give us zombies, vampires or some other undead creature as a result of someone being killed, then American Horror Story needs to remember the value of killing off characters. It became a bit of a joke in Coven €“ sure, the first time that someone was brought back from the dead was pretty neat. But by the end it became surprising when someone wasn't resurrected. It seems unlikely that there will be such in and out coffin antics, because the producers wouldn't want to return immediately to the witchcraft theme once again. But they can learn from this €“ don't introduce something and then overuse it. The audience gets bored, and it stops being either a shock or anything remotely like a twist. Naturally there is no way to tell what elements Freak Show might yet overuse until there are some further details released on the show. The producers need to keep everything in check €“ this isn't their first season, or even their first series. They simply need to keep an eye on the overall series to make sure that nothing is overused as badly as the resurrection of Coven.
