8. The Goodman Family Shows Up Twice
In Asylum, Sister Jude hires private investigator Sam Goodman to research Dr. Arden. Through his investigation, they learn that Dr. Arden was once Hans Gruper, a member of the Nazi party who ran concentration camps. He took on the identity of Arthur Arden after the war and started working/cutting off peoples body parts at Briarcliff. In the first season of American Horror Story, Constance Langdons lover, Travis, is murdered in the house and his body disposed of in a way that copies the Black Dahlia, who also died in the house. The police investigate Constances involvement and question her about the other disappearances surrounding her time living in the house. She receives a court appointed attorney, Harry Goodman. This is another family names that runs throughout the seasons. There's a distinct possibility that Harry is the grandson of Sam - they are both involved in investigations and law, and it isn't uncommon for occupations to run in a family.
