9. Insanity And The Montgomery Family
Nora and Charles Montgomery built the Murder House from Season 1 in 1922. Then, Charles spent the next four years resurrecting pieced together animal parts and performing abortions in his basement. The 1920s were a scary place. Eventually, an angry boyfriend of a patient kidnaps the Montgomerys son, Thaddeus, and dismembers him. After receiving his pieces in jars, Charles is determined to resurrect the boy. He does so, but with terrible results, which is to be expected when piecing together bits and pieces of ones dismembered child. Disgusted by the child and his new found penchant for blood sucking, Nora kills Charles and herself. Thaddeus, played by the same actor as Meep, then takes up residence in the basement. In Season 3, Emma Roberts plays Madison Montgomery. She's from Hollywood and a starlet. Rumours suggest that there could be a familial relation between Madison and the Montgomeries of Murder House, and she does share one important trait - she was responsible for stitching together Franken-Kyle like it was no big deal to play with body parts. That's a pretty strange hobby, and perhaps one that was inspired by Thaddeus, her little mutant cousin stuck in the basement of a mansion nobody wants to live in.
