American Horror Story: Apocalypse - 3 Ups & 1 Down From 'Forbidden Fruit'

Ups...

3. Mallory & Michael's Confrontation

American Horror Story Apocalypse

As is the case with every season of American Horror Story, Apocalypse has given us quite the selection of colourful characters. However, one character who hasn't really had much of a chance to shine yet is Mallory. Coco's young assistant has been without a story for quite a while now, but she gives viewers a peek inside her head in the opening moments of Forbidden Fruit.

Michael Langdon's interviews continue in this episode, and Mallory is one of the interviewees this time. The Anti-Christ wastes little time, encouraging Mallory to embrace her darker side. The young woman initially rejects his views, but she does acknowledge that she isn't really aware of who she is herself. Unable to take Michael's disturbing dialogue any longer, Mallory heads for the exit, but once Michael lays his hand on her, she grows angry, and he is thrown across the room - a fact that reveals Mallory to be supernaturally gifted. At this stage in the game, every die-hard AHS fan knew what this meant: Mallory is a witch.

The coolest moment comes when Michael shows the young woman his true face, as the two forces of evil stare each other out.
