2. The Connection Between Mead & Michael

American Horror Story can get it very wrong some times, but oh when they get it right, they get it very very right. As noted earlier, last week's episode of AHS seemingly implied that Ms Mead was a robot, and she confirmed this in Forbidden Fruit during a conversation with Venable. While confabbing with her boss, she also mentions how she remembers having strong maternal feelings towards a young boy.

We later learn that Michael had Ms Mead built himself, and he based her personality on "someone very dear" to him. This implies that the robot was inspired by Constance Langdon - a.k.a Jessica Lange's character from the first season - who looked after him in his younger years. As mind-blowing as this is, it more than likely suggests that Constance is dead. You've gotta hand it to the AHS writers, that's one really clever connection.

This is the second connection we've had thus far to Murder House, the previous being the return of Rubber Man.
