American Horror Story: Apocalypse - 3 Ups & 1 Down From ‘Sojourn’

2. The Focus On Michael

Michael Langdon American Horror Story Apocalypse

While the main attraction of Apocalypse initially was that it's the highly-anticipated Murder House/Coven crossover, the Michael Langdon character is proving to be one of the things that's keeping us tuning in week after week. While we initially met him in Murder House as a child, the character has went from strength to strength over the course of Apocalypse. As he's the Anti-Christ - and one of the original AHS characters - Michael is rich with story possibilities, and several of those stories are currently being explored.

Devoting an entire episode to only one character can often backfire (ask The Walking Dead), but AHS handles it really well here with Michael. While you might think a whole hour of Michael Langdon would be too much to handle, Sojourn proves to be exactly what Apocalypse needs, as it's time to get more information on the antagonist.

Cordelia and the other witches are currently winning, and we know the apocalypse is imminent, so it's only fair that we now see how Michael sets the wheels of the end-times in motion.
