American Horror Story: Apocalypse - What Does The Ending Really Mean?

2. The Coven Is Whole Again

American Horror Story Apocalypse Finale
FX

It's safe to say that Cordelia and her coven have been put through the ringer this season. At the start of Apocalypse, things were going incredibly well for the ladies of Miss Robichaux's.

A series of new witches joined the academy, and then Misty Day and Madison Montgomery were brought back from hell. However, things soon started going down hill, and in last week's instalment, Michael Langdon and Miss Mead murdered several of the witches - including Queenie, Zoe and Bubbles McGee.

As Mallory succeeds in ending Michael, she's unable to tell anyone because the timeline has been altered. As a result, she joins Miss Robichaux's once again, without informing Cordelia of what she did. Apparently, she is well respected in the underworld for ridding the world of Michael, so therefore she's able to bring back Misty in the new timeline.

While Madison is still to be rescued by Mallory, the season culminates with the witches of Miss Robichaux's stronger than ever. What's more, now that Mallory has reached her full potential, chances are the witches will be more powerful than ever should the next Anti-Christ come calling.
