7. The Shears

She isn't. She won't. She couldn't. Will she? Is she going to? FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING, STOP IT. Cordelia is blinded when she has acid thrown onto her face, but with the loss of her sight, she is gifted the power of foresight. Believing her new power to be more valuable than regaining her actual sight, she is devastated when her blindness is reversed when she gets a healthy new pair of eyes. Of course, this meant that she also lost the ability to see the truth. So what does one do when faced with such a dilemma? They shove spears into their eyes, that's what. Cordelia's desperation leads her to making herself blind again and does so by stabbing out her eyes with garden shears. This self infliction of pain will make the hardest man in the Universe squirm, so for everyone else, it was pretty traumatic to watch all the way through.
