American Horror Story: Every Evan Peters Character Ranked Worst To Best

1. Tate Langdon (Murder House/Apocalypse)

Where to even start with Tate Langdon? Evan Peters' first AHS character, Tate was beyond complex and hard to read. He was at once a sociopath, a school shooter, a ghost, the horrifying Rubber Man, the father of the Anti-Christ, the love interest of Violet Harmon (Taissa Farmiga), and the season's most surprisingly empathetic character.

Tate was undeniably awful, a murderer, liar and rapist who caused countless amounts of misery and torment both in life and death. But, thanks in equal parts to Peters' phenomenally twisted performance and the writing of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, Tate was also easy to sympathise with and understand.

Murder House was the first season of American Horror Story, and helped make the show one of the most popular commodities on TV. Though Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, and Ryan Murphy deserve a lot of the credit for the show's success, perhaps no one is as responsible for the show's iconic status than Tate Langdon and Evan Peters.

I get to write about what I love, so that's pretty cool.
