American Horror Story: Every Evan Peters Character Ranked Worst To Best
10. Rory Monahan (Roanoke)
In a lot of ways, Rory Monahan is Evan Peters' most genuinely likable character, an actor brought in to portray Edward Mott, the owner of Roanoke's haunted farmhouse, for the show "My Roanoke Nightmare". For the first half of the season, Peters is Mott, but then Roanoke switches gears and brings in the actors behind the characters to personally visit the farmhouse.
From the get-go, Rory is joyous, fun, and endearing. His relationship with actress Audrey Tisdale (Sarah Paulson) was sweet, and the character worked wonders to add a hopeful spark to Roanoke's dreary shenanigans.
Unfortunately, Rory was gone far too soon, killed off in particularly brutal fashion. He added little to the plot of Roanoke's second half, and often felt sidelined as the comic relief. Rory livened the so-so season up massively, but was far from a necessary or overly memorable addition to the story.
