American Horror Story: Every Evan Peters Character Ranked Worst To Best

8. The Cult Leaders (Cult)

In Cult, Evan Peters brought some of his best-ever performances to the show. Aside from playing the season's lead Kai Anderson, the actor also made several appearances as some of history's most evil and bizarre figures, including Charles Manson (pictured), Jim Jones, Andy Warhol, David Koresh, and Marshall Applewhite.

For each character, Peters is absolutely phenomenal, capturing the mannerisms and cadence of the figures without fault. He doesn't play any of them for long, but the time we do get with his odd assortment of infamous figures is time well spent.

During his stint as Jim Jones, Peters also turns up as Jesus Christ, who descends from the Heavens to resurrect the cult leader. Each role is painfully brief but could act as a segway into a series of spin-offs shows I'm sure no one would mind. Chilling, haunting, brilliantly performed and creepily uncanny, it's just a shame we didn't get to see more of them.
