6. Kyle Spencer (Coven)
With Coven, one gets a sense that the writers were struggling to find a place for Evan Peters within the witch-centric narrative. Kyle Spencer was accidentally killed by Madison (Emma Roberts) at the beginning of the season, and was later resurrected in a twisted, Frankenstein-esque way by Madison and Zoe (Taissa Farmiga).
In a season centred on powerful witches, Kyle was very much the odd man out, and compared to his other characters he's certainly one of Peters' most underdeveloped players. That being said, he still has a lot to offer for the season as a whole, acting as Zoe's emotional anchor and coming complete with a tragic, endearing backstory.
He may not be as deep and meaningful as other characters, by Kyle's genuine kindness, loyalty and subtle, tragic and hopeful arc make him a great little character all the same.
