4. Kit Walker (Asylum)
Each of Peters' characters carry with them a sense of determination and scrappiness, but none more so than Asylum's Kit Walker. To say that Kit went through the wringer would be a generous assessment, but seeing him stand tall in the face of adversity was always a treat - even if it was occasionally tough to watch.
Kit was sent to Briarcliff at the beginning of Asylum, where he was tormented by Sister Jude (Jessica Lange) and tortured by Dr Alden (James Cromwell). But Kit never gave up, never lost his will to escape imprisonment, and formed a strong friendship with fellow inmate Lana Winters (Sarah Paulson).
No matter what came his way, whether he was being accused of being serial killer Bloody Face or losing his wife to her violent jealousy, Kit always stood strong and was always endearing, and Peters showed with the role that his time in Murder House was no hyped-up fluke.
