Around the campfire, the residents of Camp Redwood told stories of Mr Jingles and the massacre he perpetrated there years ago. He was seen as the most vicious of all serial killers, and a living legend in the field of murder.

The truth, though, was much more tragic, as Benjamin Richter was actually framed for his crimes by old friend Margaret Booth, and whilst he was in a psychiatric hospital he suffered a breakdown and became the killer everyone already thought he was.

During the season, he alternated between bloodthirsty and tragically sympathetic, making Mr Jingles one of the season's most complex and effective characters.
