One of the greatest things about watching American Horror Story is that it keeps you on your toes. Fans of the show try to decipher hidden clues in the opening credits and analyse every episode with the hopes of being able to predict the true intentions of the characters. These clues will hopefully reveal the secrets of their sordid pasts, looking at how each season crosses over and what the theme will be for the next season. As always, fans of AHS have been trying to come up with solutions as to why Holden is really at the Hotel Cortez and what exactly Elizabeth is. Ryan Murphy has expressed that she's definitely not a vampire, so that begs the question as to whether she's a sucubus, a witch or does she have Renfield Syndrome? But if it's just as obsession with blood, then why is she defying the ageing process? At this point, all theories are welcomed and as entertaining as the show is, it's also a lot of fun to share your ideas with fellow fans who are equally as confused and eager to work out what on Earth is going on.
6. Sally Is A Healer
It's hard to imagine Sally as someone who is trying to heal people when she terrorises them and sews them into a mattress... but maybe that's the point. If you've been sewn into a mattress, it's hardly likely that you're going to be able to escape and give into your addiction. But then again, you could well die long before you've clawed your way our of there. Sally is an addict, plain and simple. She constantly injects, always has a cigarette in her hand with a drink in the other and her ghost isn't exactly dressed to impress. Was she a hooker before she died? Her dress code certainly screams 'lady of the night' and she probably stayed at the hotel in order to meet clients and other drug addicts. Her world must have been a one of depression, isolation and despair before she was pushed out of that window. So is she trying to redeem herself in the afterlife by physically keeping people away from the Addiction Demon? Room 51 isn't exactly the 'safest' in the hotel and it is Sally's room, but what happened in there to make her change her ways? What is she so guilty about? Is this also the reason behind the teeth scene? During her confrontation with Scarlett, who had just found Holden's 'lair', Sally crushed all of her teeth and they fell out. Was this to frighten Scarlett to keep her away from the hotel to protect her?
