American Horror Story: Ranking Every Evan Peters Character From Worst To Best
1. Tate Langdon
Peters has played many characters on American Horror Story, but the truth is is that none have been able to rival Tate Langdon - the actor's very first role on the show.
When you describe Tate aloud, others might write him off as nothing more than your average sociopath. But this couldn't be further from the truth. The troubled teenager was about as complex as a character could be, riddled with self-doubt and regret, without knowing what exactly he did wrong.
The revelations throughout the Murder House season in regards to the character, such as the school shooting he initiated, or the fact that he's dead and is a ghost haunting the Harmon house - not to mention that he is the Rubber Man, and that he fathered the Anti-Christ - only strengthen Murphy and Falchuk's phenomenal creation.
Unlike the others on this list, Tate is neither good nor bad. He's just Tate, and in spite of the abhorrent mistakes he's made, viewers are able to empathise with him from the very first scene in which he appears - a fact that is largely down to Peters' flawless performance. Tate has become synonymous with Peters, and it's unlikely we'll ever get a performance from the actor that will top this one.
