American Horror Story: Sarah Paulson's Characters Ranked WORST To BEST

Audrey Tindall is a British actress who first appears in the second half of AHS's mostly weak sixth season, Roanoke. Sporting a posh English accent and appearing much more harmless than her other characters, Audrey is unfortunately just a representation of Roanoke itself - forgettable, poorly executed and lacking a major hook.

She's witty and interesting on paper, but as a whole Audrey is Paulson's weakest main character - a woman whose skepticism about the horrors of Roanoke grow incredibly tedious and grating as the season wears on, and whose obsession with her age quickly loses it edge and adds nothing to the season's narrative.

The biggest issue with her character, though, is how lost she gets in the chaos of the events surrounding her. Her characterisation is nowhere near as refined as Paulson's other, more complete characters, and her mannerisms make her more unlikeable than was perhaps intended.
