Archer: 10 Best Supporting Characters

3. Barry

A parody of the Six Billion Dollar Man, Bartholomew Aloysius Dylan is an ex-ODIN agent (ISIS' rival agency), cyborg and Sterling Archer's arch-nemesis.

Making his debut in the first season's ninth episode, when Sterling Archer defects to ODIN, Barry is positioned as Archer's opposite and equal from the off. But, as Archer quips and bumbles his way out of most situations, Barry has a terminal case of hard consequences.

After several leg injuries and an amputation, thanks in no small part to Archer himself, Barry is repurposed by the KGB and turned into a near-indestructible cyborg. In each season (apart from Vice) a new iteration of Barry arrives to put a wrench in the ISIS team's gears, but each time he walks, limps or is blown away in a hail of one-liners.

Voiced by Dave Willis (co-creator of Adult Swim staple Aqua Teen Hunger Force), the character has most recently appeared as Barry 6 in Archer: 1999, a purely robotic villain (with no synthetic or human skin) and the season's primary antagonist.

"Yes, Barry, hi. And what's ironic is Archer, besides sodomising my fiancé, threw me off a roof. Twice!"
