Archer has always had a pretty high body count. In the early seasons a running joke was the titular super spy repeatedly accidentally mortally wounding other agents in the ISIS office, who mysteriously ceased showing up after a while. Probably because the frequency with which Archer forgot to turn the safety on his hand guns put off any potential recruits. Katya spent a little while dead, too, and there's a whole canyon full of knocked-off henchman lying in the wake of Lana and co. Then Archer Vice came around, and things were a little different. The show remained hyper violent and always irreverent in its action, but barely anybody died. It's a problem that Matt Thompson pin-pointed himself, before promising that the far more action-packed sixth season is going to be a return to form in many ways. Including the amount of people who are probably going to die. We kind of lost a little bit of danger, Thomspon said about the last season. Well, the Danger Zone is going to be back and in full effect with the sixth season. Who could be on the chopping block next? Could any (or all) of those returning characters not be long for this world? How about all of those new characters might their stay in Archer-ville be particularly fleeting? Will Archer's long-suffering butler Woodhouse finally be put out of his misery? Will it just be another long list of people low down on the ISIS rung getting bumped off for laughs? Who knows!
