Seriously, that baby is going to change things a lot. Lana and Archer's verbal (and sometimes literal) sparring has become one of the show's hallmarks, and seeing how that will be affected by having a toddler caught in between them is going to be...interesting? To say the least? Babies are one of the few things to not be used for comedic purposes in Archer, a show which got to the humorous nature of vomiting dogs and cyborg KGB agents before they bothered with kids saying the darndest things. But you look at the sorts of things Archer has done with, like, Bob's Burgers, and you can't help but wonder where they'll take Lana's kid. One of the places it's apparently going to go is introducing Lana's parents, who are apparently uber liberal, live in Berkley, and are played by CCH Pounder and Keith David. Which is dynamite casting. Expanding the world of Archer even further to include somebody's parent issues besides the eponymous hero is a neat idea, and finally seeing where Lana comes from whilst also getting to see more of her own kid, and how much of a part Archer has in raising it is going to be absolutely essential viewing. And hilarious. Hilarious viewing.
