Arrow: 10 Best Characters Who Only Appeared In One Episode
7. Jim Corrigan/The Spectre
Crisis on Infinite Earths was an ambitious exercise in fan service that ultimately did not meet its sky-high ambitions. Despite this, it showcased a great deal of characters from DC's storied annals, and one of its more surprising (but welcome) additions was Jim Corrigan.
Played by Stephen Lobo, the host of the powerful Spectre appeared in Purgatory (fittingly designed to resemble Lian Yu) after Oliver's soul made its way following his death at the hands of the Anti-Monitor's shadow demons.
This led to Mia Queen, Constantine, Diggle and Sara tracking the disembodied spirit to the otherworldly realm. Here, they encountered Corrigan, who explained that Oliver's mortal journey had come to an end and that he was to be the new host for the Spirit of Vengeance.
Oliver accepted this and this led to his tutelage under Corrigan in preparation for his coming fight against the Anti-Monitor. Seeing Corrigan onscreen was a delight for comic fans, and his presence conveyed the sheer magnitude of the threat facing the multiverse.
