Arrow: 10 Best Characters Who Only Appeared In One Episode

2. Constantine Drakon

Arrow Nora Fries

Constantine Drakon is a little-known villain in the comics, only having made his debut in 2003. His Arrowverse incarnation (played by the late Darren Shahlavi) holds the distinction of being the first named physical threat to Oliver, with his skill being able to almost match that of the inexperienced vigilante.

Drakon served as corrupt businessman Adam Hunt's head of security after the latter was attacked by a wet behind the ears Oliver. This was due to Hunt's involvement in crimes such as fraud and theft and his ability to get away with such heinous acts.

Due to the assault, Hunt hired Drakon due to his renowned skill as a bodyguard and combatant. Befitting his comic version's skill, he was able to keep up with Oliver and give him a world of trouble before the Hood eventually overcame his opponent by hurling a flechette into his chest.

As much as there have been more visceral and technically proficient fights since Drakon's appearance, his brief fights with Oliver perfectly set the grounded, intense tone that the show was going for.
