Arrow: 10 Characters That Totally Need To Be Introduced

9. Hawkman

Hawkman is a character that DC fans have been calling out to see on the screen for some time. As of yet, this hasn't happened but Arrow could provide the character with the perfect introduction to world outside of comic books. In the Justice League, Hawkman often verbally sparred with Green Arrow. Outside of battling crime, Hawkman is an archeologist. He battles crime using a mace, which is an awesome weapon of choice. He can also fly, who doesn't love characters that fly? Hawkman really does need some screen time. I'm pretty sure Starling City will have a museum, which means that Hawkman could be introduced using this area. A break in at the museum to steal the nth metal, in steps Green Arrow to save the day. Carter Hall witnesses this and decides to take up arms, or mace as it were, and battle crime himself. We'd love to see more heroes enter Arrow and Hawkman could be the perfect fit. It was great to see the introduction of Flash but this was used to give him his powers, and now he's disappeared for his own show. Great for Flash fans but for Arrow fans it was a shame as we wanted another famous comic character that would hang about. Hawkman could be this character. He doesn't need to become a regular in the story but he could show up every now and again to help tackle a big enemy and when we don't see him we could be treated to little background hints of what he's up to €“ such as TV news reports and in the newspapers.
