Arrow: 10 Major Predictions For Season 4

6. H.I.V.E

The Hierarchy of International Vengeance and Extermination - or H.I.V.E, which is only the second most irritating Arrow organisation name to type - have already been seeded throughout seasons 2 and 3 of Arrow. They have connections to Diggle, as it was H.I.V.E who hired Floyd Lawton, aka Deadshot, to kill Diggle€™s brother Andrew. We also saw them in Corto Maltese, as the agency Mark Shaw was working for to steal A.R.G.U.S files. David Ramsey, who plays Diggle, has already confirmed we€™ll be seeing a lot more of them. He told E! Online:
€œFrom my understanding, H.I.V.E. is going to be a big part of next season€™s big baddie. We are going to delve right into why H.I.V.E. hired Deadshot to kill Andy and what H.I.V.E. is all about to begin with. There will be a lot of Diggle€™s connection to H.I.V.E. next season so stay tuned.€
So it certainly seems that a lot of Diggle€™s storyline is going to be concerned with H.I.V.E, but they are also connected to Oliver, Ra€™s and the League of Assassins. As Ra€™s tells Oliver of Damien Darhk, he mentions Darhk left the League and various assassins followed him to his own organisation, who were involved behind-the-scenes far more than Oliver realised:
€œ€His own organisation, filled with a hive of agents devoted to his own agenda. Last year he tried to purchase Malcolm Merlyn€™s earthquake generator; he gave Gholem Qadir safe-haven to Markovia; and he hired Mark Shaw to steal a secret file from A.R.G.U.S.€
It€™s unlike the use of the word hive is by accident, and gives us the big clue that Darhk, who escapes the clutches of Oliver and the League in the S3 finale, will be the big-bad of season 4, in his role as head of H.I.V.E.
