8. Is Curtis Going To Replace Felicity

It was recently announced that Echo Kellum would be promoted to series regular status for next season. So unlike past heroes such as Ray Palmer or Sara Lance, Mr. Terrific isn’t going to be a one-season wonder before heading off to Legends Of Tomorrow.

Beacon Of Hope recently gave us a good indication of what Curtis could offer the team, and his technical skills are strikingly familiar to what Felicity already does. Beyond that, their quirky personalities are far too similar to carry both characters, especially if all their time is spent together back at the base.

So at the risk of Curtis becoming completely redundant, that means something’s gotta give with Felicity. It’s possible that Curtis becomes more like the comic book Mr. Terrific, armed with his T-spheres and out in combat, but they haven’t exactly set him up to be ready for that. In any event the series only has a few episodes to explain to us how the two characters are going to co-exist.
