2. Hes A Huge Wrestling Fan
He grew up watching wrestling as a huge fan of Hulk Hogan, and attended WrestleMania VI in 1990, when the Hulkster lost to the Ultimate Warrior, reportedly crying at the defeat. Now as an adult hes made an appearance himself in WWE, having something of a Twitter feud with Stardust and then a brief altercation with him on a recent episode of Monday Night Raw. Plans are reportedly in place for the two to actually face-off in the ring at Summerslam this August, although Amell has moved to deny those reports, tweeting:
Lots of rumors circulating that I'm fighting @StardustWWE at Summerslam. Not true. Cody wants no piece of me.
Presumably trying to fit in wrestling with filming Arrow would pose something of a problem, but then again, just because someone says something isnt true is no reason to believe it wont happen.
