After Smallville ended its impressive ten-year run, Warner Brothers wanted to adapt another famous DC hero for television. NBC failed to get the Wonder Women pilot off the ground, and The CW (thankfully) was unable to make a pilot for the Dick Grayson/Robin centered show, The Graysons. The answer was someone who already appeared on Smallville for half the series, Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow. The new CW series, Arrow, stars Stephen Amell (HBOs Hung) as the titular hero. Executive producer and comic book writer, Marc Guggenheim, has announced a few of the villains that will be appearing in the show, including Deadshot, China White, and Deathstroke. Green Arrow doesnt have the most impressive rogues gallery but just because a DC villain didnt appear in the Green Arrow comics, doesnt mean they cant appear in the show.
