Arrow: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
17. Rene Ramirez
Oliver's most outspoken Season 5 recruit, Rene Ramirez's journey on Arrow has been a bit like the character himself in that there has a been a lot of ups and downs.
A unique and original spin on the Wild Dog character from the comics, Rene boasts one of the most comic-accurate costumes in all of the Arrowverse (excluding that hideous short-lived armour) and, for the most part, he's been rather engaging.
Grounded by a strong performance from Rick Gonzalez, we have watched the character make a ton of mistakes only to learn from them and develop for the better. Though he's a little too confrontational at times (remember the "this doesn't change anything, hoss" debacle?), he has become a fixture of the modern iteration of Arrow and, quite frankly, it's hard to imagine what the show would look like without him.
His relationship with daughter Zoe is also incredibly touching.
